Jg.Pz. E 90
A project for a heavy tank destroyer based on the chassis of the advanced E 90 tank, developed in 1945 as part of the E series tank concept. The vehicle combined high firepower and good defense, including against infantry anti-tank grenade launchers. The tank destroyer was designed with a formidable 15 cm gun with a length of 44 calibers in mind. To increase the rate of fire, an autoloader was planned. In addition, a special jet ammunition was developed for the vehicle, which allowed for firing with minimal recoil while elevating the gun as high as possible. The project did not go beyond the blueprint phase. No prototype was built.
